Artwork Description

Presenting my Winter Solstice Fairy--a sweet-faced, yet sexy fairy with pale winter white hair, gorgeous blue eyes--dressed in fur-accented clothing with unusual patterns and all the shades of blue and grey that you can think of! Her skirt is held in place--clasped by a bluish white metal buckle etched with the impish features of the Northwind. Wings made up of paper thin sheets of pale colored ice in a framework of jewel-accented frosty icicles complete the look of this ethereal being from the realm of Ice Fairies. A partial border showcasing snowflakes in varying designs outlined in white and accented with silver; bare darkened trees, and a background showing the colors of the Northern Lights--provide an atmosphere typical of the Winter months. Done in ink, watercolor, and a touch of acrylic on thick acid-free cold-pressed Arches watercolor paper.

I find it hard to accept that a goddess of the Winter Solstice would be wearing a bikini. It seems contextually false. But the image is nice.
