I think it's lovely, and I also think you should be proud that it's powerful enough to make some people feel threatened by it. Fabulous!

I really like this piece. My favorite part though has to be the background. A good background always makes the image seem to -pop- out. You've done an excellent job here of making the image and background work together in a wonderful syncronized unity. Shes beautiful and the clothing she wears is exquisitly done. Theres plenty to look at people, not just the name.

It's very beautiful, don't let anyone get yah down

This is a beautiful, universal image and I love the fact that you have blended spiritualities in her pose and her grace. She is also very evocative of the Jewish heroines I grew up hearing about at my synagogue. Please keep it up!!

i love it i think its perfect the colors go so nice it makes me feel at peace with my self and surroundings and i agree she does have a biblical feeling to her. she wonderfully beutiful as well (sorry about my spelling im know im bad at it lol or it could just be my typing)

Anthing but"phoney" it's very good.

"No such thing. This picture seems phoney. don't insult Christianity like that."

It never fails. Every day I find more and more reasons to despise religion, christianity especially. If being christian makes me that stupid, I'll stick to being a godless heathen, y'know? ~lol~

At any rate, Catalina, this is a very wonderful piece of art. And yes, I agree with you.. she does have sort of a biblical feel to her.

Me encanta como te quedó este dibujo hermanita.

It's lovely.
Don't mind the ignorant fools.
Someone who feels the need to insult a work of art because of their own stupidity should not be regarded as a valid critic. Besides, what kind of idiot spells 'phony' incorrectly>

Guest's picture

~ You know, if people read past posts before actually posting themselves, you'd find that in the FIRST One she said it was NOT a Religious mixture, just art concepts. So the person who had to comment that the pic was 'phoney' needs to get a life because she wasn't insulting anyone.

-- But I do like your picture though. Your style is fascinating, especially with her hair and clothing. I love it. The coloring is great, also.

This picture seems phoney. don't insult Christianity like that.

This is not a religions mixture. In the beginning I just wanted to draw a Hindu woman, but when I finished it, it´s seems similar to a piece of Biblical art.
That is the reason of the name.

Puhleease ... I'm Catholic and for a short while in my childhood was raised in a Hindu environment. So it is possible. Not sure about the saint part though ... LOL.

Lovely usage of colour and lighting.

Fantastic colourings and composition but you realise that any true hindu or Christian would never mix their beleifs!!!!
