Chaos Queen by sphinxmuse
In its former incarnation, this was once a small wooden artists' mannequin. I have made a few modifications. This was actually my final project for an Arts & Crafts class during my senior year of high school (2002). I decided to refer to her as the Chaos Queen since I had no real rationale in choosing the design elements that comprise her (towards the very end of the project I discovered that my deliberate lack of rationale was my rationale). Many of the strange designs running down her legs are actually stylized words. One of them reads "random," another reads "Chaos Queen," and another reads "disorder." One of her hands also has the Chinese character for chaos written on it. She wears a kimono-like garment of stretch velvet, which I designed, beaded, and sewed by hand, she has the face of the Mona Lisa, and she has a Loon (Gávia ímmer) emerging from the night sky on her chest. She also has an intricate design on her back. Some details of her (upper body and back) can be seen here.
