Artwork Description

The inspiration behind this sculpture was distinctively feline. She is the faerie version of the lioness . . . a stealth and feral hunter. She resides in the rain forest. With her fading war paint and camouflaged bark wings she silently tracks her prey . . . her weapon a blow dart gun with tiny darts that she carries in a thigh harness. When necessary she laces her darts with the skin secretions of poison dart frogs. One drop is enough to kill as many as 800 men. She will protect her territory with a feral tenacity.
Both the faerie and the frog are original one of a kind figurative sculptures, created in polymer and mixed media materials, and are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
