I wasn't shore witch genre this was sci-fi or fantasy, the image it self is sort of a battle between the two. Thanks for looking.
Wow, guys, you know I'm a fan! Your comment has made my day!
The idea: 100%!!! And the work is too...
I can feel the speed (0.95 Mach) and loudness.
Hi, thanks for your comments, I'm pleased you like my stuff. Oh yes, i tried to e-mail you but it didn't go though so if you send one to me, we can talk about your book cover.
I can't express in enough words how wonderful this painting is!.I am truly awestruck! The lighting and details are incredible but you get so much more with the emotions conveyed as well. You also inspire me as well to do well in my drawings and paintings but I only hope I can be as good as you! Please keep more coming!Do you sell by the way? And would you also be willing to do a book cover for me too?
This work is divine, possibly primus inter pares of your gallery! Keep them coming Mat, always innovative, thoughful and stunning! Oh my god, how much I love it!
Interesting take on the old "Paul Bunyan" story. I also like the static lightning from their flight to the jets on the ground (if that's what that is...)
This is a fantasticly original concept, and I find it so much more interesting than the typical "Character Portraits" we see all the time. I love how both the dragon and plane are burning from the friction against the air, very dramatic. This type of imagination is what I strive for in my own art. Great work!
Thankyou Caitlin, what do you say to a comment like this? It makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable as I am not sure I am really worthy of such high praise. Thankyou again Caitlin for this amazing comment!
It's a gorgeous picture showing halfthe land is the dragons andhalf the land is 'man's technology' as some may call it. The work on here is brilliant I must say most I have seen on other sites dare not come close to this type of work. Matthew this is brilliant. I love looking at all these fresh new works.
Really great piece. You can tell the dragon really wants it!
Thanks Jennifer, the dragons on this planet are definately the rulers of the skies. Only the best pilots dair race them
Oh dear lord this is a cool painting. (I, naturally, shall be rooting for the dragon.)
