What amazing detail! Love all the wonderful destruction and debris. But my favorite thing about this one is the PoV and perspective. I feel like I'm right there, climbing up that hill, exploring the aftermath of a war long past. Just brilliant! Smile

Fantastic work as always! The sky, the perspective, the devastation, the body, the textures, everything is brilliantly done. Wonderful. I am in awe of your talent.

Thanks Nathan, this piece is going to be the cover art for the cards that I recently finished. As it is going to be seen a little larger than the images on the cards I did try to pack a little more of a punch in the detail department. Cheers mate!

You know, I would love to get and editors pick one of these days but really, the comments you guys leave are more than enough for me. I may miss a reply now and then but be sure, I read and appreciate every one!

Thanks Pierre, I was really hoping that was coming across in the peace, so cheers for that.

Thanks Rita, it was fun doing this one, all that rubble, I had a great time, it's surprising that a little scribble here, and a little scribble their can add to this sort of image. Cheers Wink

Hi Marley, thanks for your comment mate. I'll tell you what though, there are plenty of things that I often struggle with in my paintings. In fact all of the things you have mentioned gave me problems more often than not! It's actually a little ironic as I'm always reading tutorials about such things and it seems the more I learn the more I start to second-guess every decision I make in a painting but often the best results come when you're just going with your gut and doing what feels right, trust me my friend there are plenty of things I get wrong! The good news is epilogue won't let me show anything that's not up to par,he he! So all you see is the good stuff.

Nothing to add to Marley's comment, it is awesome. I particularly love the light in the piece, it really conveys that "new dawn" feeling.
