22 1/2 inches tall. Sculpted from cernit.
One of my favorites, Keri! Maybe someday I can put it in my (future) son's room.
HEHEHE! Yeah...your right!
He looks like the mischeivous friend we all need to have around every now and then.
Wow! Thank you so very much Norma! What lovely words to write! I'm so happy you see such magic in him!
This is simply magnificent! The pose, the physique, those dramatic wings, and the wonderfully eloquent expression - all go together to produce a fabulous piece of art. How fortunate you are to have such a sublime talent!
Thank you so much! I actually dreamed of him! When I woke up that morning I started sculpting him and did not stop until he was done! He is very special to me! so...again..thank you!
I like this piece a lot.. you can see the effort put into the details..good job!!
Thanks Kishma! Well, I can't claim the base but it just suited him so well. His hair is actually Tibetan Mohair that I have hand dyed a raven black. I am so pleased that you like him!!!
Whoops! I posted too soon! *Here* is the whole sculpture. Wow. Again. Wonderful work. Did you sculpt the piece he's standing on as well? No matter. He is really beautiful. The feathers that are also his hair give him such an otherworldy feel. Great work!
Thank you so much!!!
god thats amazing, so detailed and just simply no words to put for how great it is! ^_^
Thank you for the lovely comments...they mean so much! I'm working on more pics.
