Sculpted from cernit. Soft pose-able body. 30 inches long
Thank you so much Melanie! Well...once I started sculpting it just felt so right. I am self taught so it took a lot of practice and many hours of trial and error. I still have so much to learn but I enjoy every second of it. This particular piece was the very first sculpture I ever sculpted from cernit. I hand made her eyes from clay then painted them. I was so happy with the look of cernit that I am pretty addicted to using it now. Thank you for your lovely words!
Your sculptures are absolutely gorgeous! Did it take a long time to learn to mold them or did it come naturally. They're just beautiful!
Yeah..I have really fallen in love with cernit. It is much more difficult to work with but the outcome is so worth it to me. She was definitely a very sweet spirit...I miss her...
Cernit is wonderful stuff! You've done a beautiful job! She's very magical. The whole thing is very nice! What a sweet face!
Thank you Rita! It is funny but when they are 3D like this...you start to feel that they are real! Not just a sculpture! They almost follow you across the room! LOL...maybe I'm just nutz! LOL!
Thank you Amy! I used a Biscuit color cernit on her to create a very delicate feel..so thank you for saying that!
Keri, just beautiful! A real little fairy
