Not Drizzt... more like Zaknafein Smile

He looks exactly how I imagined the character Silchas Ruin from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Awesome drawing.

This is an amazingly artistic picture. Did you intend it to be Drizz't or was it just a Drow?
I think you can tell from the picture that he isn't as darkminded as Drow are usually considered. Very Nice!

nice.

I love this pictue ^_^, and I am just gonna say, that purple skinned drow are just the artists view of them; on the fcovers oof novels, here, etc. the drow are actually ALWAYS black skinned (or grey in some cases- albino). Dark elves and drow are also two differrent things; dark elves have brown skin, almost black, and the drow descended from them. Therefore the drow took the name Dark Elves. the last dark elves died in Ched Nasad.
I got all this from a history compilation of the realms, so don't bitch!
there you go. Nerdy Tongue

This dark elf rocks! I draw fantasy myself, and I just... wow. //Robert (also known as Nathil the Ranger)

Wow, is he looking for someone or something? 'Cause he looks like he is bent on getting whatever it takes to get the job done!

P.S. Love it!

The way that this Dark Elf, or Drow is drawn is superbly the best I could imagine. And as for the eyes, which some of you people are arguing about, don't the Drow have a spectrum sift to their eyes? Yes, they do. And when in the Inafred spectrum, the eyes glow red.
Read the books, figure it out. Still, awesome artistry!

i luv this pic the darkness makes it so life like

Very nice, I like this alot. It gives me the sense that it is a hand painted portrait with lots of depth to the image and color. Thank you for sharing, KLF

Cool pic really like the detail

You all sound like you have different ideas of what a dark elf should look like. I don't want to sound like some fantasy geek, but I guess that's impossible to avoid when here, but I think a dark elf can look however you want. I mean can't "good" elves turn? A dark elf could look perfectly good and innocent but be evil. I love the pic! I prefer the darker stuff.

Guest's picture

hehe, you all sound like a bunch of nerds.

Lovely drawing, though. He is quite beautiful.

People, people. First of all, its Drizzt, not Drizzit. Second, a dark elf, also known as drow in certain environments, can have skin varying from light grays and purples to deep blacks, with various tones and complections. Finally, the artist can create whatever kind of dark elf that they would want. It is a wonderful piece, Nori.

when he's an AD&d darkelf, he has red eyes and they are named Drow.
Drizzt is a spezial one.

nice pic by the way!

Dudes. Drizzt has Lavender eyes, not red. But this is cool. His skin looks alittle light though for a darkelf. I always imagined it to be the same color as black leather.

Guest's picture

Has a slightly "darker" feel than Drizzt.

Guest's picture

Let me venture a guess. Drizzit?
