This is breathtaking. Are there prints available?
"Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" is a fourteenth century English poem in the Arthurian tradition. The Green Knight arrives at King Arthur's court wielding an axe with which he invites Gawain to chop off his head. You can find modern translations of the poem on the web. Just type the title into a search engine.
could you please tell me the origin of this painting?
Thanks a lot. I am glad you like it.
all your art here is great but this is my favorite by far.
Thanks for your comments. I have not got very far with digital art yet - I still prefer paint and brushes.
I'm glad you like it. It did take a bit of time to paint!
Thanks very much
I'm glad you enjoy my work, and thanks for your comments. My interest in fancy costumes comes from years of designing costumes for plays, as you can see on my website
This is gorgeous! Your gallery is just incredible and the costumes are so detailed and beautiful. I truely appreciate your work. The quality is so much better than the digital stuff I see on this site. It's so obvious you put a lot of work into your paintings.
Wow, awesome. The greens are so lively, and all the detail... *stares at it trying to take in every little pattern*
This is my favourite (must be the green) but all the works in your gallery are great!
