Artwork Description

Inspired by a girl I met. She seemed to have eveything but happiness and I thought that it was visible in her eyes. I came up with the idea of a grounded, nearly coccooned, fairy with broken wings shortly after I met her.

I follow you. Many have told me she looks like another mood than sad to them. It makes me feel satisfied about this piece, because it apparently stir something in people.

I don't really think she looks sad. She looks pleased like she just committed a mischievous act!

i dont know- she looks like the cat that's about to get the cream to me! Beautiful light and colour- she looks more like a sexy goddess than a sad girl!

IMHO she don't look sad (especially since her eyes are not visible in details), just very strained... looks as if she got ready to spit jet of flame or something like. K=)
Anyway - looks excellent.

Your work is amazing and I can't help but be jealous. I'm just starting out with watercolor in my art class and I absolutely adore the efects of them.
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to work with watercolor in their future art peices?
