Thank you Ken! We like your works too!
Thank you Uwe!
All pieces are collective works. We complement each other, we can work together very well. Our main technique is analog. Acrylics and airbrushes. Analog approximation has many advantages. Later we bought some computer tools and softwares (Cintique, Painter, Photoshop), and we strated to integrate the digital techniques especially into the post working phase. We work with collective concepts, sketches and brainstorming. You know: four eyes are more than two. We have special workflow, where there is a continuous feedback from the other. We accept the others ideas, arguments and dictums, but in some case we reconsider the others conception.
As well you should, Zoltan/Gabor. You can tell from my original statement that the two-way bitchfest it spawned was in no way deserved. I said that I appreciated what you did with this particular piece, not that everybody should do it, or that you should do it from now on. The admittedly off-topic examples I gave for modesty in women were just the first-grabs and provin' someone wrong. I'm curious - is there a way you can tell without going to your site who draws each specific piece, or is it a double-effort each time?
Hell! You guys do really pretty outstanding work!!! Always wonderful to me when i see art of this quality, thanks for doing and posting your stuff here for us all to enjoy - thanks!!!
Well, I gave you an undeserved chance to redeem yourself and - sad but not at all unsurprised to say - you failed. Nothing worse than great, big paragraphs from a guy who's got no idea what he's talking about. But, since I've come this far, I'll pick your stuff apart yet again.
It only takes -one- woman in the world to behave differently for what you said to be crap. So, muslim women use their bodies to get what they want? Uh oh, you were wrong again! Obese women with inferiority issues who never leave the house use their bodies to get what they want? Uh oh, you were wrong again! Heh, sorry. Need a more intelligently constructed and fact-based argument to go one-over on me, kid.
A for effort, though. ^_^
Uhhh, male guest, I think you should stop while you are, well, behind. All she said was she liked the artist's work, because it deviated from the norm in fantasy (that is, overdeveloped women). And, off the top of my head, I don't know of that many female artists who DO draw overly endowed women.
What's the matter? Did I hit a sore spot? Feelin guilty? I don't need you to write that it "was okay for women to use their appearances for money, or that you do so yourself" because... ALL WOMEN USE THEIR BODEIES/APPEARANCE TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. Look at the type of clothes you wear, all the make up you trowel on, the type of heroes that you worship in the media. Women have been parasitically feeding off men since the dawn of time, and now your pissed because an artist can use your image to make money too. Guess what, you don't own the copyright on the female body, and since there are no rules when it comes to survival, us men can use your breasts or whatever else we want to get ahead just like you do. Cheerio.
Hah. I'll give you one chance to redeem yourself. Where did I say - anywhere, anywhere at all - in my comment that I thought it was okay for women to use their appearances for money, or that I do so myself, which would be necessary in order for you to call me a hypocrite and look as though you knew what the word meant? Furthermore, where did I say a male artist can't make money by drawing excessively massive breasts? Got nothin', I'll bet. Wanna know why? Cause I said nothing of the sort. I said I appreciated something this particular artist did. Kthnxbye. ^_^
Man, you guys are palette masters...this piece really sings!
Gee, I guess I am going to sound like a bitter male chauvinst, but why is alright for women to use their bodies(appeareance) to make money, but male artists can't? Get off your high horse hypocrite.
Love the expression on her face and the contrast between the color of her skin and the flaming sword. It's striking.
