Artwork Description

This is from the Slayer's Guide to Centaurs and was used on the interior cover. Definitely one of those early studies I'ld like to try again in color to improve upon. The skeletal structure here was particularly interesting to try to construct, it was almost like putting a puzzle together and was a difficult one to figure out. Pen & ink was also used here.

Yeah, when I started this I kinda thought inorder for the spinal column to not only have support but even work they would have to have a pelvis there and the front leg joints would also need some kind of support structure. This piece was an education I must say.

Great skeleton. I've often tried to imagine what their skeleton, organs, and mucles were like. I never would have imagined a pelvis at the front but he needs one to support the veterbra. Job well done!

Art at its best.
