Hi all. Just finished this for a table top RPG. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
Your mom said that you had some new work. I didn't find it but I am taken with all your work. It is not hard to tell that you love your work.
So very proud of you;. Love aunt Janet
First thing I thought when I saw this picture was "That man has got to be freezing!" I have several chainmail products i've made myself and I've worn them in the cold winter air and boy does it ever amplify the cold temperatures. That is one tough man. That aside, the piece is beautiful. It's rare to see chainmail drawn/painted/portrayed so accurately. Heck, even the way the guy is holding the axe, with the top figers clasping tightest and the pinky only barely contacting the handle is accurate (I'm a regular swordfighter). The zombieish dogs are creepy, but skillfully done.
dude, them bones's freaky. exellent artistry.
I love the textures and designs of his armor, especially the axe and skull helmet. It's great to see someone still willing to
to create art of this quality with oil paints.
John, this is so fantastic! Love his "coat" and the idea!
