Artwork Description

So says Hesiod, c. 8th century BCE.
Here's winged Eros, in Kato Polyclay. He'd stand about 8 inches tall; the whole piece is about 9 and 1/2 inches high. The faux rock he rests on is sculpted in Aves Fixit Sculpt, a two part epoxy clay. The tiny roses are Kato clay. He flew off to a new home from eBay.

A bright New Year to You!

This is exquisite! The delicacy of the sculpture is amazing, and the set up with the backlight makes it very ethereal!
