I love this odd bit of business. Great subtle colors and masterful use of light and dark to focus our attention.

I realize that Nepthys is a female god who started to appear within the 5th dynasty of Egyptian pyramid texts, and that she is claimed to be a relative of the Heliopolis cosmic family. She is considered to be the nursing god of Horus and of the Pharaoh, and I also hear that she is considered to be potentially very dangerous because she is responsible for incinerating the enemies of the Pharaoh with her fiery breath, like that of a dragon in Norse mythologies.
This was not my question, my question is that, when I researched her name, nothing about her physical appearance was mentioned other than the fact that she was a female figure who breathed fire, but was actually kind in nature, which is why I’m puzzled. I’m just wondering why you chose this artistic representation for Nepthys, she looks more like a demon or devil in this image than a nurse god, but maybe that’s because you implicated your own personal expressions and representations of her into this piece of artwork.
Either way this looks kickass, sorry for the long critique, good work, you really have something special!
