Artwork Description

A timeless symbol, Mariposa reaches through the collective conscious of the world's cultures. Meaning 'Butterfly' in Spanish, she represents the Greek Psyche in her fields, and is also related to the Russian folklore belief that butterflies were witches in disguise.

Thankyou very much!

haha it depends if you think they're wings or folds of a big old-fashioned bow on the back of her dress. Laughing out loud

Very delicate piece, lovely. And your use of textures is really good, you have a fine control over the medium. Congratulations (again).

It's good and all, but uh, it kind of looks like her wings are coming out of her butt.

Art at its best.
