Artwork Description

According to some ancient cosmogonies Achlys, the eternal night, is the first created being which existed even before Chaos. According to Hesiod, she was the personification of misery and sadness, and as such she was represented on the shield of Heracles: pale, emaciated, and weeping, with chattering teeth, swollen knees, long nails on her fingers, bloody cheeks, and her shoulders thickly covered with dust.

It has been quite a while since I started this piece and now I am finally happy with the way it looks.
Although this is quite different from the stuff I usually do I really feel like I have found my style with this one
I hope you enjoy it Smile
