Artwork Description

In the first version of this the figure was nude, acrylic on canvas. Some time after I had sold that painting I was asked if I could clothe the figure for a calendar. So I drew this new version in coloured pencil and watercolour, with oil pastel to get the dark blue sky, and she now appears on the title page of the Barnes & Noble "Faeryland Calendar 2009"

This is really lovely. I love the wrinkles and folds of cloth and the relaxed pose. How did B&N find you?
