Artwork Description
The wild rose bush outside my window is currently in full bloom. It is an ancient bush with tall arching branches and secret shadows beneath its twining stems. I was listening to the CD "Secrets of Faeries" by Neil H, and the track "Secret Garden" inspired an image of this Midsummer-rose Fairy smiling from the bush. Here she stands at the window of her secret garden.
I designed the Celtic motif border by stippling using fine-nib pen. The rose and fairy are worked in coloured pencil.

I came across your art in this site, and I just wanted to tell you that after looking at some of your art, I feel inspired! I am barely getting ready to study art in January, and now I know for sure which mediums I would like to learn! Your use of watercolor and pencils is magical! And the way you use little tiny dots to shade is amazing! (What a patience!)
If one day I could even be 5% of the artist that you are I will feel blessed!
Thank You for sharing with others!
Best Wishes:

Thank you
I love stippling...sorta meditative and calming
Lovely, the stippling looks fantastic. I don't have the patience for that kind of work.
