Artwork Description

A Berserker Troblin from my upcoming book 'Fleming's Field Guide to North America Goblins.' This image, among others, can be seen in my newly released 2010 calendar on lulu.com. This little guy was created in Photoshop using a technique I pioneered, which will be the topic of one of my upcoming Photoshop books. I wanted to create a new technique for quickly rendering realistic fantasy characters and I'm pleased to say it works very well. I hope you like the Berserker.

Thanks Cristopher. I spent years educating the 3D community on photorealism and I wanted to show artists how to achieve the same, if not better with 2D tools. In fact I'm going to be releasing a lot of new technique this year. You should see the things I do with candy in Photoshop - lol Thanks again for the kind words.

I thought for sure from the thumbnails that these were sculpy models, so when I read that they were entirely rendered inside PS, I was flabbergasted. All I can say is congratulations on such an incredible technique and prepare to be rich.

Art at its best.
