Artwork Description

This is a Goblin Tube Dragon; a very menacing creature that lives in the hollowed stumps and branches of trees. It is very reclusive and typically only comes out at night or when provoked. It feeds on small animals such as birds, lizards, mice and most typically bats. It also feeds on insects using a very unique tongue that opens up like two flowers. It emits a strong nectar odor to attract bugs. It has a number of defenses which include a heavily spiked head and quills that can be extended from the body. In this image you can see the quills because the dragon has been provoked.

Thanks Smile Glad you like him. I like to use DOF on my realistic creatures to make them appear more photographic. Yeah, you have to watch those tree stumps now!

WOW!!! That is one freaky little dude! Great use of depth of field focus on this one- its almost a photo- which makes it even creepier. And I used to so love leaning up against old tree stumps!

Art at its best.
