I am so amazed how you can do such paintings with watercolor. Any that I do look sloppy, and detail and shading are so difficult. I am really impressed.
This one's big -- it's 28x20 inches. So lots of room for details!
Well, the original is long gone, but I've got plenty of prints. This is one of my favorites too....
As soon as I get some money, I will buy it!
This is another favourite of mine here!
So wonderfully done Stephanie!
This is symbolises ewery vision I have had about elves!
Beautifull, magical, so perfectly blending in with the nature...
This is my number one of your pictures!
There's so much detail that you put in these paintings. I was just wondering what size paper or board you paint them on? Keep up the beautiful work!
Stephanie you are a true master at watercolour. I love looking at your work. There is always so much to see. One can never just take a quick look. I find it takes a matter of weeks of coming back time and again to view another one of your paintings. I still haven't seen them all. But there is no rush. I have the time and you have what I want to enjoy.
The light was done by just avoiding to paint in that area. Treat it like any object. And then kind of blurring the edges to make it less of a sharp line. And as for the water shining, well watercolor is perfect for this. You just layer the paint, and you get very glowing results.
its so beautiful, i love how you did the light, and how did you manage to make the water shine like that with watercolor? its an amazing picture, but then all of yours are.
You are *so* awesome at water color painting! The colors are so beautiful, and there's more detail than I could ever imagine in real life. I love how the branch on the tree makes a circle, like it's guiding the sun's light onto the people. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
This is beautiful!
ahhhhhhhhhhhh, how do u manage to get such light in ur pictures. beautiful and soft yet powerful as lothlorien is.
Your work is beautiful, and seems to be the very embodiment of fantasy! Gorgeous color and such delicate grace.
I truly hope to see much more of your work.
