I love the way you paint (of course!) but the emotional thing I love about the Seasons is the way your main character is woven into the web of life - such a pretty way to be reminded that we are all of the same substance. Thank you!

Hah...funny thing is, this was not intended to be "winter" at first when I did it. I just painted the picture, then thought it seemed very cold and lonely. So then I decided to do a series of season pictures.

Wow, these season pics of yours really look like... well, what they are supposed to look like Cool This one is so cold... Brrr! Soon to be winter and lots of snow and all... this one reminded me about that. Very wintery image.

Yes, actually I do have the other Seasons. I was planning to post them here, just have not yet gotten around to it! But if you're impatient, you can go poke around at Shadowscapes. They're in the latest additions so you can probably find them easily.

It invokes a kind of silent peace. Or that's what I see in it. More moths? Wow.

It says "Seasons". Don't you have another at Shadowscapes? For Spring?

wow, I love the way you put creatures within and around creatures with such subtlety, that it makes the viewer looks more than once, and me amazed more than once. Great work, as usual.

This is beautiful, Stephanie. I like the title; there is such a profound silence to some of the winter days that you could swear if you listened hard enough you could hear the sound of angels' wings. Or in this case, butterfly wings!

Art at its best.
