Fantastic! it has a wonderful dreamy feel to it. The color scheme is just stunning!
Wonderful as always. I like especially the top of the pic. Incredible details, great lightings and masterwork with the blue/green colors what you did there. Hehe, I FEEL the cold water. Grats Steph!!!
Beautiful colors and lighting
This is beautiful, Stephanie. Makes me realize just how much of this amazing world I miss by not being able to swim, much less snorkling! So I do it vicariously....by viewing such wonderful work as this one.
wow, really? Thanks steve! =)
My new favorite of yours.
Well, I hate to follow the crowd usually, but in this case I will wholeheartedly agree that this piece is something else...I love the coloring and detail on her tail...wow, way to go!
The original is 16x26 inches.
Wondeful as usual! what size is the original?
Thanks! As I was saying to someone else, much of this was inspired by what I saw while snorkelling recently as well. Sometimes while swimming above coral, there would be a gaping hole. Not quite big enough for me to go into, but I could see the sunlight spilling down into the space below, and see the flicker of fins as fish swam about in the streams of sunlight that poked through...
That is amazing, simply perfect. The plant and animal life are so amazing, and the colors!!!! I recently went snorkeling, this reminds me a little of it ^__^
Poetry... But the only thing that kept going through my head as I painted this (courtesy of my boyfriend) were Disney Little Mermaid songs!!!!
This one is 16x26 inches
Hm... Caffeinated eyeballs...
Well, I have to admit I did get a lot of ideas from a recent trip to Hawaii and snorkelling! You see a lot of those little yellow fish swimmming around in pairs.
how large is the painting? its gorgeous!
The amount of detail you put into your pictures just blows me away. Absolutely stunning!
Simply magical...delicately beautiful, so perfectly laced together...poetry.
Wonderful details, everything is so alive and colorful.Fantastic lighting.
I'm stunned by the beauty of the picture...
your my Punters choice!...Wonderful watercolour Steph. I particularly like er.. well all of it, and the little knuckle joints of the wings, oh and her eyes are nice seen too...
Scuse me a minute, Stephanie, but my eyeballs just popped into my coffee cup! Wow! this is a cracking Mermaid, your details are far too good, and the colour work simply takes the breath away!
Steph, I love again the colors you chose. The painting makes me wanting to see the underwater world... But it is probably not as beautiful as your imagination
Steph, the mind boggles! Just lovely.
Simply beautiful!! As usual, your level of detail is amazing!
Thanks a lot socar!
Impeccable work as always! I love the lighting!
