Artwork Description

She was commissioned by someone who really liked the first one I did of her. But actually, I really like working in this tall thin format. And it's a good way of using up all my scrap pieces of illustration board. Smile

I really like this one! The flame-like hair is just gorgeous, and her figure flows so well through the narrow canvas. ~Hydra

Thanks so much for the link Kimberly! And yeah, I do pretty much spend all my time painting.

I am so inspired by this! Your artwork is amazing, you must spend every waking hour at the drawing table? You are in a creative league of your own, a modern master. Although I have only recently discovered your work, you are one of my favorite artists. I have placed a link to your site on my webpage. Kimberly Smile

No, I don't, but I've had a lot of requests for that, so I might look into it.

Hey Stephanie, this series of paintings are really cool. Very reminiscient of some of Mucha's series of paintings without being derrivative.
Nice job indeed.

Heyyyy, what a great suggestion from May-Lin, Stephanie...if you don't do this already...these would fly off the shelves, I would think, as bookmarks!

I really like this format as well. And what a beautiful painting. Do you make these as bookmarks?
