You are one of my favourate artists!!! Your work is fabulous, you have a fan here.
Very rich. This is just one of MANY of my favourites by Amy...there's just something about the colours that pull me in; i find it hard to look away. Amy inspires me to paint, and I have to admit, I think i'm addicted to her web page... just describe the painting and i'll know the title
yeah, you know she has the same name as a character from AH! My Goddess the movie...weird, except in the movie the girl's name is spelled Morgan Le Fay...i just thought that was kinda weird
Great colors and composition. Are you familiar with the work of Nena Thomas? I am reminded of her art. Good job!
AMY I THINK YOUR ARTWORK IS THE BEST EVER.I FIRST SAW IT AT HOT TOPIC BUT NOW IT'S EVERYEWHERE. YOUR WORK IS REALLY INSPIRING AND VERY BEAUTIFUL OUT OF ALL OF THEM I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT MY FAVORITE WOULD BE "Gargoyle II" IT HAS BEAUTIFUL COLORS AND A STUNNING FARIY. KEEP UP WITH YOUR EXCELENT WORK... YOUR FAN, *TRAGEDY*
Amy, Your work amazes me! I first saw it in Hot Topic, of all places. Now, looking at your work in various online galleries and in stores, I've found it inspiring. I love how you use watercolors! I have a love of watercolors myself, but I'm frustrated with it because I'm being told by teachers in my college courses to handle the material differently. The problem with general classes focused on one medium is that many of the teachers in an art program expect you to handle the material in a more classical and/or abstract style. I'd rather use it toward my goal, which is illustration. The way you manipulate the paint really helps me focus on the results I'd like to achieve. Also, your use of subjects (ie: fairies), is something I've always had an interest in. I hope to use the inspiration your work gave me toward my own goals and style. Thank you!
I have to agree with Jennifer, as much I spend so much time at your website, I don't think I've seen this one...but it looks oddly famaliar to this one pic you did, but I can't think of the name of it now
I love your artwork Amy, it inspires me to try even harder than ever before to do my best at my art. I'm 15 1/2 years old, and I've been going to art courses held by a great artist and teacher named Riki Walsh. I've been in her courses since I was 7. I never learned much from the art classes at my schools, but Riki has taught me so much. She was my favorite artist in the whole world...but now she is my second, for you have amazed me so much with the outstandingly beautiful pictures you do. I to, like to draw much fantasy creatures and things of and related to fantasy, and I also love to draw Japanes style cartoon characters (Japanimation/Anime/Manga). I'm not as good as Riki is, and I'm definitly not as good at art as you are, but I'm trying ever so hard. Everyone in the world has been blessed with a talent, some don't ever see or find their talent, some find theirs early on in life like I did, and some don't find it until a long while... but you, me, and Riki, we have been blessed with one of the greatest talents that I beleive is so great to have. I'm probably your biggest fan, even though I haven't been able to buy any of your wonderful artwork. I've put on my gift wishlist for holidays for my family and friends to know of the fact that I really want to have some of your artwork, so hopefully I will get some. I would love to buy some myself, but being 15, I haven't really got any jobs I can get, so I don't have enough mobney yet. I do plan, though, to get a job at a video game store called GameStop, to earn some cash. I love video games as much as I love art, and I am thinking of going into a career,(when I'm older), of working with some video game company, hopefully Mythic Entertainment. In the job I want to work on disigning and drawing the landscapes and characters and creatures that would be found in the games.
Amy... I love your artwork so much, and I have been greatly inspired bythem. I hope that you could e-mail me and we could share art tips and be able to talk through e-mail to each other. My e-mail adress is firstname.lastname@example.org. Please e-mail me.
This is probably my one of my all time favorites. Knowing nothing of your art, I saw the original on the wall of Browser's books and it caught my eye. I ended up buying the Morgan le Fae bookmark, which is still up on my wall. I've been a bit of a fan every since. Beautiful.
Lovely colors, sweet image'
I'm a bit shocked, don't think I've seen this one before and I think I spend more time at your website than I do sleeping. Your use of watercolours is nothing short of extrodinary. I love the rich colors and the designs on her clothing.
I love the outfit--you've got a real knack for clothing design! Very beautiful work.
Mhmmm.. Very nice, Its sorta "Catholoc Iconic" looking (but uhm.. Sexier;) Great detail too! Wonderous image!
Amy, your work is spectacular I have never seen a more talented fairy artist like you, all of your creations are beautiful but one I really like is MOrgan LE Fae
I think you are one of my favourite Epilogue artists so far (have not seen all of them yet!). You've got an interesting and original style, elegant and clean.
I don't think I respect anyone more.....If I could pick someone to put to the physical what I would look like for the rest of etenity, it would be you....You have extaordinary talent.
Amy, I really love the details that you put into the character's clothing. It amazes me that you can keep so much detail in watercolor. I can't wait to see more of your works!
