I LOVE digital collage...and you've done such a fantastic job combining it with original illustration. The colors are truly stunning!
Hmm. I was worrying about how dark or light this would appear on different monitors. I worked on this on two monitors, and though one was brighter than the other, both had their brightness and contrast cranked to the max, and I couldn't see the edges of the head when all the layers were in place. Thanks for the comments though, I'll take another look at the original!
Thanks very much, all.
Nice idea with the scanning of the leaves. I like their transparencies. Her facial expression is nicely captured as well. Her hair seems as though there's a few painted strands and the rest is just one block of color. Maybe it's just my monitar, but some more hair detail would be cool. Also, the right side of her face (our left) seems...odd and somewhat deformed because the eye seems alsmot shut while the other is wide open. Other than that, nice color choices for the mood.
Lovely! I absolutely love the colors in this and her leafy wings.
I love this piece. Great scans and colour. I love her expression as well. Very nice work.
This is beautiful....good job.
