Artwork Description

Painted for four girls who died at sea. Watercolors, 12" by 16", (though I had actually wanted to do it larger).

Would it be too melodramatic to say, this bought tears to my eyes?
As a previous writer states, it is a wonderful & fitting tribute!!
I can fully understand that you would liked to have painted it larger. However, there is no loss of sentiment here.
Your expertise is exceptional. It is a palette I like to use, but unfortunately, I am nowhere near this standard. I wish...

It's so sad...they are trying to comfort each other while they are bitterly weeping themselves...shows how close they were...may they rest in peace. Amen

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I think your work is really nice. I especially like your looser, more spontaneous looking paintings, like your Eros.

Hey, nice work you've got here Janet Smile My first visit here and I'm very impressed with the very high standard and variety in your work! This piece is very nice, the watercolour shades are beautiful and its a great composition overall - it's gerat work, keep it going!

That's so pretty. Interesting picture. They look like ghosts, the atmosphere is so sad and pale and spooky. It's a great illustration of the story.

A wonderful tribute, Janet, and lovingly depicted. I especially like the way how you've handled the dresses and wavelets.

Art at its best.
