A friends D&D character, a cleric who can call down lightning
This artwork is amazing, you've done an incredible job here - an amazing sense of movement and energy, and some character projected from her facial expression - I like the way you somehow instil a sense of humour in the characters of yours that I've seen. Well done!
Yeah! i dig your expressions, she's got a quality in her eyes, the same goes for the falling angel pic..i'm just drawn to the way you draw women. Great work!
Great painting! Your oils have a watercolor quality to them. The expression on her face is a nice touch. I like that "You boys are in for a surprise" look. Well done.
Ah, Steve. Your opinion carries even more weight, because I know you and your work personally. Thanks for the support. It is nice to have a "colleague". This is my first oil painting. The second is on the drawiing table waiting to be transferred to canvas. Ther will be more, never fear. By the way, I liked your take on the Death Dealer.
Thanks. I can't believe the response from all the talented people here. Actually, the "apemen" were easy, it was her hair and the sky that took the most time. The whole painting took about four days, not including the original sketch.
To receive praise from someone so adept at capturing mood and tension and the "dynamic" quality of even a still figure is a great compliment indeed. My thanks.
I blush! To catch YOUR eye, one so good at catching others'...
Thank you, Jim. I feel awestruck by the response to this picture from such talented people.
Thanks! Any praise from another artist is wonderful, but when it is someone of your caliber it is doubly so.
She looks fantastic!!! You've really outdone yourself this time, David. Thanks for bringing my girl to life! And I'm glad everyone else seems to like her, too.
Way to go David!!!
Nice movement, expression. More like this-more like this!!!
the thumbnsil looked promising, but this is much better! fantastic detail, movement, love the clothes! and all those ape men behind her - man, that must have cost you some time to finish?
as Stephanie said - lucky friend
oh yes, a very eyechatching dianmic picture... I like it a lot...
Colors and pose...fantastic. This caught my eye too (in the thumbnail version.) And I think catching the eye is what it is all about. Great work!
I like the colors. They caught my eye when I saw the thumbnail version. Nice work.
There's great dynamic movement in this. I love her pose.
