Artwork Description

Kind of working on a new concept. I'll give you more details later if I manage to do the second image in this series (that I'm planning - right now, too much work for it) Wish I had more time to spend on it, but work has me stretched really, really, really thin right now so this is it. No more time to spend on it
(Picture a little in celebration of my webpage working again. Now I just have to fix so I can update it again! Expect a BUNCH of new wallpapers there when I can.)Want closeups? Go clicky. I spent ages on those cards :]

4Oh, and yes, reference used as always. I'm just mentioning it now to give credit to Ulrika who is sweet enough to run over to my flat whenever I can't seem to get things to look right. Heeh, mwah on her!

Apparently your website is not as fixed as you think. 404 when I click on the links. Awesome work though. Really love the cards. The detail as a whole is fantastically executed.

I read a section in a graphics art book on this piece and I just love it. This may seem like an odd question but is the person in the image a man or a woman?

Guest's picture

Brilliant. The card detail is exquisite, the face of the dealer is devine and the little details on the wall and stones in the pavement put the icing on it all. Very mystical. I'm guessing fishing or water sports above the door I count at least three faces in the stones. Two human and one ...pig? Keep up the solid work.

I Love it..the asexuality of the focus figure...but I wonder who is watching them from the window..?

This art work is so beautiful, there are no words to describe it, really.

I want to know what program you use to do these?

Guest's picture

I'm just commenting this picture but I know the other pictures would be commented nearly the same....

it's beautyful. what else? just beautyful.

I would give a lot for such a talent.

From browsing your website and your gallery, I've come to the conclusion that you are among the elite artists who gives their character life. The way you use your characters and integrate them perfectly with their atmosphere is just astounding and truly makes you see them for the person they are. The only critique I could find on this one is the pose with the feet- it just seems a bit awkward, it would look slightly improved, I think, if you had his feet more on the ground. But again, his face and suit, and especially the cards, just create such an atmosphere that I cannot even describe- wonderful job.

Hey, thats a great work of art, all of your drawings are beautiful....but I have a question, Is the person in the drawing a girl or boy? I'm thinking girl cause the person is just so perrty lol...but I dont know.

linda, it would be so amazing if you did a full tarot deck, with your own interpretations of the symbols. it would be beautiful

BRILLIANT!! Absolutely freaking brilliant. Years of experiance in art and years of enjoying it go into each one of your paintings. I don't know how you do it. Me and art have a love hate relationship. We have been seperated for a long time (since kindergarten) and now that we are back together we are trying to work things out. We take consul in looking at your relationship with art's cousin (Great Art) and hope to accomplish what you have accomplished. If you have any tips on how to make this relationship work feel free to help us. You can be our Dr. Phil!

I closed my eyes and randomly picked one picture out of your gallery to comment on. There is so much stunning work here I couldn´t make up my mind otherwhise. After seeing this, I have finally decided to go digital. I would be eternally greatful to get this question answered: Do you use any kind of model for the subjects of your compositions? Personally I find it quite difficult to draw the human body without any references at all, that´s why I ask. All of your work is pure inspiration!

I love the whole picture. The left hand is especially well done - it looks really perfect. Great!

Ok, now you are my aim!

Gads. I could just stare at the face, and the cards, for hours! Breathtaking. Verkligen extremt vacker!

your works are so great, i like the skin of your character...

What does 'reference' mean? Does it mean you looked at a photo to do it? Or that it is a photo manipulation? I do not understand.

Hello Linda! I just got finished looking through your gallery and every single piece I loved! You're the kind of artist that I've been waiting for! If I could draw/paint half as good as you I would be the happiest person in the world! I especially like the boys that you have done Wink Keep it up!!

I love to draw, and work like yours inspires me. I'm 17 years old and I feel like I'm running out of timeto do the best work of art possible. work like your makes me want to stop being lazy and draw something beautiful. If you have any words of advice please please e-mail me at evitaice16@hotmail.com

As always I wish you would put some of your painting into prints, even just the face detail.

Guest's picture

You continue to amaze me with your attention to detail, and this is a very exceptional work indeed. The detail in the cards alone are magnificant.

He... (is it he?) is truly beautiful. I love this new picture. I'm so glad that you draw this way:)
Peace and Jesus' love

yes....I had your name on DA and I think I lost it...I love your art and I just wanted to keep up with both sites so I was wondering if maybe you could tell me what it was....if it's not too much trouble.

maddie's picture

Oh, so gorgeous. I'm always extremely impressed of your drawed clothes, and the cards are a treat to the eye. The background is extraordinary, but I find it a little strange that the doorway is so small. Makes her look like a giant Smile.

Guest's picture

i really love how it seems like you could just walk right into the setting and down that alley... but i dont think id want to because of that guy in the window!

Art at its best.
