Stunning.. Im a huge fan of furres and the like and I love this piece. the fur look so real. I wish i could use photoshop and digital art programmes like that but my area lies with the pencil sadly

The ravens are semi-intelligent pets and messengers that she cares for, though they occasionally hunt on their own. When she chose to be one of the protectors of her region of the mountains, they bonded to her, choosing to remain with her lifelong.

I'm not sure if that makes her a shaman, although she's fairly close. Think of Janny Wurts's clans, and that's essentially the idea.

This is beautiful. You've achieved a wonderful mood with your colors. The piece evokes a story or at the very least, questions. Is she a shamaness of some kind? Nice fur testure around her writs and face and a beautiful glint in her eye.

wow! love the wolf's fur - almost photorealistic - and the clean lines of the bird launching into air. this is a very dramatic piece.

Kinda neat--I'm getting a Hindu/Indian sort of feel with the clothing, yet this is obviously in the North someplace. Nice mix-and-match there.
In other news, I really love the texture of the fur.

i'm not one of those furry fan people.. but I must say you did a wonderful job on this!... I just LOVE the colors and how it looks like a painting done in oil.

Art at its best.
