Come to think of it, it's a rather dark story of child neglect, obduction, attempted murder (I don't even want to start to think about what the huntsman might have done to the young girl instead of killing her), survival and revenge. There's no way all of that wouldn't have left any scars in a childs heart. So I made the image in a darker, gloomier mood to indicate that.

The card has the same size as other trading cards, such as Pokemon or Magic cards.
Copic, ShinHan Touch Brushes, gel pen and Polychromos on Perfect Coloring Paper, sealed with an acrylic based fixatif with UV protection.
by OH-Luri Epilogue ACEO - Amphitrite http://www.epilogue.net/art/70370-aceo-amphitrite
Another ACEO portrait, this time Amphitrite, a greek goddess of the seas and wife of Poseidon. Of course, they are female, young and beautiful, nearly translucent. Their home are either the mountains, the forest or the clouds. They are said to have bird wings or fairy wings, to control the winds, etc. According to western beliefs (though I never heard anything about that from slavic people) they can also be vampiric, luring men into their death with their beauty and their singing.
It is also said, that their life force (or their soul) is in their hair, and if a Víla looses a single one, she is doomed to die.

ACEO cards have the same size as Magic or Pokemon cards, so this drawing is around 2.5 x 3.5 " in size.
by OH-Luri Epilogue ACEO - Melusine http://www.epilogue.net/art/70304-aceo-melusine
Melusine is half human, half waterdragon (in some regions the non-human half is also a watersnake or fish).
She appeared as a beautiful maiden infront of a poor french nobleman. The sea witch from The Little Mermaid, this was an acrylic painting I did live as a demonstration at my "Take Over" event at Disneyland's WonderGround Gallery in California. I of course had to include a bunch of the "poor unfortunate souls" in the background, hehe. Prints, merchandise and Limited Edition Canvases are available exclusively through Disney.
If you are in California, you can get this image in various formats at Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery. In Florida, she’s available (she's very popular, so they sometimes have to re-stock inventory, but she should be there!) at the WonderGround Gallery there located inside Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op in their Downtown Disney / Disney Springs, as well as various other locations at Walt Disney World.

Don’t live in California or Florida? Don't worry, you can get my Disney artwork shipped WORLDWIDE. As I'm not a castmember nor do I get a discount on my own art, lol, I can't really sell it here myself on my own site, but there are many many other options for you!

The easiest option (with international shipping, too!!) is to visit YourWDWStore online HERE (hyperlink the word HERE to http://yourwdwstore.net/search.asp?q=becket&Affid=[45] )
They are a local online Disney shopping service that retails merchandise sold at the Disney parks & galleries.

Alternately, many locals and castmembers have eBay stores & eBay auctions that retail Disney park merchandise, many of them ship worldwide (and you can even find out of print or retired images!) - you can see which items (usually hundreds) of my Disney artwork are currently available on eBay just by clicking HERE (hyperlink the word HERE to https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2057253.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC1.A0.H0.Xjasmine+becket+disney.TRS0&_nkw=jasmine+becket+disney&_sacat=0 )
You may also order this piece worldwide through Disney’s “Disney Parks Shopping App” available on your smartphone (availability varies, it's worth it to check periodically as inventory there fluctuates).
Currently they are re-structuring their own Park Merchandise shipping, but typically Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery is very happy to ship worldwide and takes orders via email at: merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com or by telephone at: 877-560-6477. Just let them know you are interested in Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s artwork from WonderGround Gallery and they would be happy to let you know what is currently available.
by strangeling Epilogue Lichtspiel http://www.epilogue.net/art/70247-lichtspiel
Meine Facebookseite: Stadtherz Photography & Design

Model: Aaliyah Zhoura (Facebook: Aaliyah Zhoura – Artist Page –)
Visagistin: Naomi Auer
by Stadtherz Epilogue Valentine Card http://www.epilogue.net/art/70246-valentine-card

by Stadtherz Epilogue Fit into the System http://www.epilogue.net/art/70244-fit-into-the-system
Fit into the System

We all life in world where every place has it's very own "System". I myself had the luck to be born and raised in one of those so called industrialized countries, so I don't have to suffer from hunger. Not everyone had this luck, so I'm thankful for that. BUT - everything seems to be about money and consumption here. People seem to be willing to do just everything for that and the System does everything that people are willing to do everything. It starts with school, do you really learn there or is it just to get you functional for the system. I mean if I really would know everything I should have learned there, I would be a genius! No one there is looking for your talents or interests - The teachers just have to teach you the teaching material that is on the curriculum, day by day, year by year till you get your graduation. So what you do is to learn for the next test to get a more or less good grade and forget about it - learn for the next and forget about it, well you got my point.
And we do it to get a good job! And we are perfectly trained to be functional in a job. We do that job every day 40 hours a week 40 years even if we hate it. So we can buy all that nice plastic stuff, the mobile-phone every two years, the car (well we don't earn enough for a car so we go to the bank and take out a loan), same with the house and all the other stuff that the media suggests us to buy as we need it soooo much for our life...
Now take a second and think about your dreams when you've been a kid...
We fit so much into the system, there is no time for dreams, no time for creativity, no time... we fit into the system till there's not much left of us...
It might be that it has to be that way, that's probably life - however - thoughts like that I had in mind when I painted this picture.
How a system assimilates us more and more till we perfectly fit and nothing is left...
Hope you like and maybe something to think about.

Thanks for stopping by - have an awesome time,
Uwe
by j-art Epilogue Tough Guys http://www.epilogue.net/art/70211-tough-guys
The cape buffaloes are tough. This is the Fish Queen. She is their leader. She walks, or really floats along the ocean surface carried by the fish and actually dressed up in them! It is just a thought that occurred to me. This Animal is not exactly small in the broader scheme of things. Yet they say "the Elephant in the room". The elephant in the room is an English-language metaphorical idiom for an obvious problem or risk that no one wants to discuss.
Imagine if the elephant in the room was a real, grown up African male elephant in the room! This would be such a real problem that those in the room will not, for the first time ignore! They will, interestingly still not discuss it; only this time they will acknowledge its existence and run like hell.
by smalldigger Epilogue Spring Thoughts Thaw http://www.epilogue.net/art/70184-spring-thoughts-thaw
This piece is a warm, or, slightly less frozen welcoming to spring after a long winter.
