Influences: I have always been drawn to fantasy art in general (particularly that of fairies and dragons), and I was drawn to anime and manga art when I saw Rurouni Kenshin for the first time back in high school. As a result, I fell in love with the Japanese culture as a whole, particularly from the time of the samurai. Beyond that, I cannot really say where my inspiration comes from, because every work of art and every great story that I see is a source of inspiration for me.
Style: I dabble in a variety of styles; never content to do just one thing. When I see something beautiful, I want to see if I can do something like it. I draw anime art: sometimes painted and sometimes cell shaded, and I try my hand at a variety of levels of realistic artwork. I also enjoy minimalism. Most of my art is digital. Most is in color, and I have been told that my colors are vibrant, rich and full of life. My tendency is to do more whimsical images, but I am experimenting with more intense images as well.
