Influences: I love all things fantasy...when I look at a great piece of fantasy art, I get that old familiar rush of excitement as I get lost in that artist's world. It's my hope that I can invoke these same feelings in others. I'm inspired by many things...mother nature and all her mysteries, the art of many talented fantasy artists, Celtic music (Loreena McKennitt is my favorite).
Style: I call my style mythic fantasy...most of my paintings are inspired by mythology with a fantasy twist. I often use only watercolors, but lately have been airbrushing with acrylics and also combining watercolors and airbrushing for different effects.
