I've been away from Epi for a long time but I signed back in just so I could comment on this. I see your magical touch with those colored pencils is still in fine form James. Beautiful. :) | | (James McPartlin) |

Thanks james, i think i know which technique you are trying to emulate..by contrast adjustments, i mean digitally, just to lift the image a little, i think simon explained the process to ya some time ago..ANYWAYS, i appreciate your skill none the less~~Marley | | (James McPartlin) |
Yeah I know, Marley, I really do need to get some comp smarts, unfortunately I'm working with a dial up service and a camera at my mum's just now...once back home I'll endevour to experiment with the imaging prog! thanks pal :)

Wow, does Elin really have abbs like these :O..Love how you've articulated the leather jacket, James. again nothing but a fine display of your talent..WISH to heck you'd've figured contrast adjustments by now :). | | (James McPartlin) |
Heh heh Marley, I'm not sure if she does but I like to think that after a good work out fighting bad guys she gets kinda toned up...then it's a bit of R&R on the lounger for a wee while! I've been kinda experimenting with the shadows in my work lately...sort of inspired by the early oil portraits in the national galleries where a lot of details and outlines are only hinted at and obscured by shadow...really just trying to see how far I can go with pencils! of course I take on board all you say here my friend...onwards and hopefully upwards :)
