Now Im truly intrigued, I really want to see those dolls, lovely work as always. |
| (Sara Witty) |
sadly, only one doll remains. ill try to get a picture of her as soon as possible. and then ill try to make time to make some more, cuz i love em. mostly because i love the looks i get at stores when i buy a cute little doll, thread, electrical tape, nails, and then ask one of the workers if they think the thing is highly flammable:)

This is awesome. So much texture and detail, the folds of the clothe is excellent! Is it suppose to be like a frankenstein idea, with the scars? She looks sad, like she just came to realize the heart was placed there not there originally. |
| (Sara Witty) |
thanks:). its not really frankenstein, but i do have a thing for scars which borders on a cheesy obsession with the idea of psychic scars as physical ones. pretty deep, eh?:D

polaroid Beautiful, glad you decided to keep working with her. *nods* Say... think quick photos of the remaining doll would turn out? :) |
| (Sara Witty) |
well... i have old poloroids of half-finished-still-disected skygirl somewhere. but dolly i think needs pics taken of her.

Oh, wow...this is wonderful! I absolutely love the idea, and the pencil work is stunning, especially on the heart. It looks almost...as though it's about to throb feebly from its confinement. The curtains and the mask look great, as well. |
| (Sara Witty) |
thank you so much! its wonderful when you try to get an idea across and it actually works.

ah... brilliant. it is as if Dali conceived it, and DaVinci executed it. I can't call it sick, but it IS provoking :) LOVELY, dear! |

Hi Sara ;)
You have beautiful work in your gallery.
This one especially is a favourite of mine. Wonderful detail and a great sense of mystery. Your story about when you buy the dolls at the store was very cute I thought. ;P |
| (Sara Witty) |
hi:). heh... im glad you like it. ... as for the story of buying dolls, a fellow member of epilogue, laura ault, and i used to live together, and she was there on many a doll-buying trip. ah.. the stories she could tell:D. ... and the pictures she probably has too!! hahah...
