S'nothing wrong with fairies, besides you paint them beautifully - this one looks so delicate and peaceful, and she's just watching her tiny shoe float away on the wind. I love the colours - they contrast really nicely, and the light in it looks straight from a fairy sun. Sweetness! :) |

Oh, dear--got to hate when that happens! She can just fly down and get it, though. The way you've handled light in this painting is superb--it looks like one of those fiery sunsets where everything turns to gold for a few minutes---especially those wings! |

This is wonderful, Janet. Great handling of the watercolors. I love the direction of the brushstrokes to emphesize the shoe that is falling. The textures & color are equally wonderful and the rendering of the fae is beautiful. |

Hey, if I could paint watercolor fairies like you, I'd hold my head up and be shouting "LOOKEE HEEEREEE...I DID THIS!!!!"
the simplicity of composition is lovely and really accentuate all that wonderful light and color. |

A beautiful image Janet, wonderful composition and light. Stop resisting the urge to draw fairies, especially if the results are going to be as good as this. |

Wonderful use of light! True feeling of movement/falling. I love how gentle she feels. |
