I think you've done a good job in capturing the essence of Aragorn. The expression and furrowed brow really fit the descriptions of him in the book. Well done.

(If I was nasty I would compare him to Kevin Costner, but I`m not nasty so I`ll let that be :D ) It is indeed a wonderful portrait, I love the way you made the lighting here....cold and serious, just like the eyes and general attitude of that character, gives me this cool winter feeling, very refreshing to view such art on unbearable hot summer days (well 'unbearable' for Swiss conditions)

I'm not sure from Aragorn, but that's a bloody good interpretation of Strider. (I've always felt the two to be somewhat different, even if they are the same persion). Nice job!

Astonishing portrait, Min. He carries that weathered, knowledgeable look about him. The light shadiing also adds a weird illuminated look to the pic. **blinks again** does he look like Tommy Lee Jones to anyone else????

this has always been one of my favorate pictures of strider. somehow it very much reminds me of the voice from the audio cassette version of lotr. our drawing of him has the most gorgeous lifelike eyes, and he has that weathered face i always pictured him having.
