Vera Lucia Emerim 2002-08-19 She is a beauty, Dan. You could call her A Tigressa, the Portuguese words for the female tiger. I want to give masonite a try. I have never before used oils on masonite   (Dan Mills) Tigressa! Hi, Vera. Thanks so much for enlightening me with the Portuguese word for a female Tiger. I've already changed the title of the painting. Masonite can be sort of difficult to paint on because it's so slick. I would recommend texturing it with modeling paste after you gesso the surface.
