My what a big axe you have!
Looks like you had fun with this one 'Cloak...in a way, it reminds me of peeping into anothers swirling nightmare. Neat! |

Thanks Cynthia! Yeah I did have fun with this, even though it's not the usual kind of pic I do. and the surreal nightmare comment pretty much hit it dead on, though I don't really see it as much of a nightmare, but more of possibly madness? or maybe just a swirling concoction of things in me. *shrugs. Glad you likes the axe/scythe hybrid thingy! :)

thats a rather FF hero-esque sword you have there ;) over-compensating perhaps? :P But this is cool. I really love those dark eyes in the background, and the sketchy pinkish setting type thing (looks like either boats or banners... looks cool either way ;)) I think maybe this image could be improved by paying more attention to the layout- it looks kinda crowded. But damn cool drawing you have there in the middle ;) |

Hey Alice :) Nice to see you came by to check this one out. Overcompensating?!?! Hey now! *smirks a fangy kinda smirk*. It's less revealing with the huge sword in the way... um... No further comment. =P I do agree that this could have been better, (as I said in some of the previous replies), like the arm, some of the coloring, and sharpness. The layout was kind of a pain to do, because of all the ideas I ended up having for this. otherwise, just glad I managed to pull this one off (especially with the ever lingering nasty creative block monster that has been gnawing at me lately). See ya round and thanks again! |

I do like the abstractions floating about! Gives the whole piece a really dark and kinetic mood. Bravo! |

Abstract and cool! Nice darks and killer hardware, Sal. Another solid statement from darkcloak himself. This is like watching a rock and roll horror movie in one frame. Fun and great, as always. Keep the fire! |

Rock n Roll horror movie in one frame? HEH! Walt I always get a kick out of your descriptions and comments! I'm glad and very flattered my imagery brings that about. :) Yeah, abstract pretty much came about on it's own on this one... I've been letting it flow lately, just let my stuff shape itself out for a change, rather than me forcing it into what I wanna see... Glad you liked. THANKS MAN!
