Good lord, that's a stunning level of detail - I really like the crossed-line pattern on the armour and axe-head, and the autumn leaves on the grass. The expression is great, sort of exhausted, and relieved, and weary - really good piece of work! |

Ah, the autum leaves, my favourite part! They took some time, but I like so much the effect they bring.

Very well. Great work, the detail was alread mindnumbling in the greyscale version! The metal is really great, but I wonder if the skin tones are not a bit too washed out? They look rather plain compared to the armor and weapons. In the end, I think I like the black&white version just a little bit more like this one, but both are fantastic! :) |

Yes, I have to work a bit in that skin, and in the rain. Also, it lost some resemblance to me in the colouring.

I like the statement this pic makes about your personality.
It's very symbolic.
The dwarf remains resolute throughout all of lifes struggles, a little saddened but a true warrior. |
| (Santiago Iborra) |
Yes, that's very close to what I have in mind! Thanks for the comment Chris!

Oh my goodness. Thank you for posting in my gallery. I have missed seeing your work.
This is so well rendered and the detail is unbelievable. I adore it. Wow that perspective is impressive. Now I go forth and explore the rest. |

Thanks Kay! It's an honour to have you here!

Santiago, you have the best self-portrait in this gallery! I have to come up with a new idea for my self-portrait now, I have a soft spot for dwarves, too! |
| (Santiago Iborra) |
I think there are a lot far better than mine, but thanks!
