I really like your style of painting. I like the sketchiness quality that youve retained throughout - the atmospheric ambience if you will. Some really nice paintings! |

Thanks Bryan! That sketchiness is part by design and part impatience, lol. Also these landscapes came from my head, so when I do detail work it invariably taes ages as I try and 'see' the picture more clearly. Ack.

You're landscapes are so beautiful in their simplicity and color...excellent work! |

Thank you so much Cynthia! I've just had a quick look at your gallery and now need to go there for a prolonged visit and a general gnashing of teeth and wailing in jealousy, lol.

Hey wow, this is absolutely beautiful! I'm a fan of unusual landscapes- they touch something deep within my soul... |

Thanks Nell. :) This must have been one of my quickest paintings to date, usually I hover over them for days, this one just hapened in a few hours. It was a joy to do.

I am drooling all over your color palette (sorry)! This is so simple and atmospheric. I can see how it took you a short time, it's very loose, but you must also be very talented to achieve something this powerful in such a loose style. Bravo! |
| ( Soni) |
I'm all for drooling, drool at will! I wish I could do more at this speed, so I attack the canvas thinking 'will this be a two hour wonder?' and five days later I am still fussing and fidgeting... weeks go by.... Now I need to have a better look at your luscious pictures: from the thumbnails they look good enough to eat!|

Wow is painfully short of covering your work, but that's the only thing coming to mind. I love the colors of this one, and the paint strokes and the layering. It's all the things about paint that I like to try to get to happen in mine stuff. Great atmospheric things happening, and it looks great as a small thumbnail and in full scale looks like a window to somewhere else! Way to go! :) |

Regan! What lovely things to say about my work, I am grinning like an idiot now! Wouldn't it be fun to do a collaboration, your beautiful goddesses with my backgrounds :)

I find that you really well retranscribed the atmosphere of the paintings of Turner! I hope that the pupil will soon exceed the master! The colors are fabulous! |
| ( Soni) |
Thank you Johanna! Exceeding Turner? now that would be some feat, ah, but I can dream lol. But this was a lovely message to return to after so long absence, so thanks again :)
