This is just fantastic Emily!! and deserves a lot more comments!!! Great texture and flow, the whole thing comes to life. | | (Emily Veinglory) |
I am a tad worried that it needs more contrast -- it is for an rpg book and they seem happy with it -- so that's the main thing.

Emily! This piece is da bomb! I love it - lots of wonderful energy and I am really diggin the technique - awesome work! | | (Emily Veinglory) |
I think my gallery shows that I am beginning to get the hang of things -- however I was also trying to draw an amulet for these guys and I finally gave u... shape shifting elf-drake, no proble, -- disc with a cross on it, impossible -- go figure.

Really nice work Emily , I love the movement you caught here and so much detail...also like her soft expression... |

love it! The contrast is perfect near the bottom of the picture (especially on the legs, they look wonderful) but at all goes a bit blurry towards the top (the dragon head thing just doesn't stand out as much as it possibly should) | | (Emily Veinglory) |
I agree about the contrast... I am working on a contrast-adjusted scan -- I don't think the original paper will take onbe more mark without falling apart! It's only A5 sized.

There is some wonderful energy and mark making in this. I would have liked the face to have been a bit lighter so that it has roughly the same contrast as the legs and belly.
Great piece, I think I should have come and visited your gallery sooner. |

You textures and compositions and all are amazing. I really love this style, and I can't wait to get through the rest of your gallery. |
