Before I read your description of this work, I was thinking. 'This is different for a piece focusing on a Ringwraiths - the surroundings look so light and normal.' I feel you've succeeded in your goal. The Wraiths were, IMHO, the most memorable and terrifying elements of FOTR - the screeching sound they made haunting.
