why thanks markey! (er, marley). so nice to have the opportunity to read some of your commentary again mate!
as to brushes, i use digital airbrush set at 10% opacity, usually on semi-opaque layers (often gel and multiply for tinting), which adds up to kind of a glazing technique, like in oil painting. for some modeling and edges i use painter's variable round oil brush, which kind of drags the 'paint' around in fun ways.

hey chris! yeah, i intentionally worked within the frazetta 'a' to see what advantages it offered and i loved it as an organizing principle. thanks for stopping by, mate!
