Apparently Denise Orme was a big singer/actress/musician during the turn of the century. You could make some money painting such portraits in watercolour and selling them to the rich people who listening Bach during the meals and having piano in the living room - If I have one (piano that is) I'll buy one to hang it over it (the thing is, I can't play one, and I'll not hang the picture over someones nerves I can play on :>) The mood is very romantic.
