I'm pleased... you've submitted a new pic here again, cause I like them all so much. This one is great too, I love the colours you use and the way you paint trees and grass, there's really a wonderful atmosphere here in this picture :) |

I am speechless. The way you use light and color are astounding! It all looks very real, very magical. My only criticism is that his face loooks a little flat, or skeletal. Perhaps it's too narrow? Anyhow, wonderful work. |

Another great paiting John, weird tree-creatures. The lighting and 'effects' here are excellent.I'm envious of you're rendering of grass and trees (in all your paintings). |

*buh* All I can say, John -- you better not still be doing this with a MOUSE! *grin* You should work on the poor guy's face though; it is a bit flat. But I think it works for this picture; looks like he's been blighted. :) |

Hey Yeech !! actually i am still using a mouse..as for the face, they asked me to give him an appearence as if he was melting, which is what I have tried to do..perhaps I should show a close up as there is alot of detail you cant see at this size..LONG LIVE THE MOUSE !!!

Intricate composition, tree and figure are merged well. Two two light sources kinda oppose each other though, with just one very bright area you would get 100% attention and effect, with two they must share so it`s just 50%, just my personal opinion though! I like the color scheme and the haziness, as always very moody. Slightly too artifial looking maybe, on the other hand this is your style, recognizable and unique as it is. Nevertheless, I would enoy seing more structure, more texture on your colorings, in order to brake up the articifial touch of things, and the strong neon glow in many parts. |
