Fantasy? Now how is this fantasty? Wait! Let me guess....Oh right! Great breasts, terrific legs, a sexy smile AND a .44 equals=FANTASY! LoL...And Stephanie approved it? Oh sure...bypass my mermaid Stephanie which would definately be considered "fantasy". Leave it in the pending file for like days and days on end but DO take the time to approve this particular fantasy...Life sucks! AND then you get a chick with a gun and garters...go figure? *grin* |

P.S. I don't think this Pic qualifies for fantasy but it's well done none the less. |

Whoops! Sorry, I didn't want or mean to offend anybody. I should've put this in my profile, but some of the many artists I am influenced by are some of the old pulp artists like Virgil Finlay and Rafael Desoto . Hence this particular piece.
But otherwise, thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Mainly to Debra:
And they put aside my paintings for having no background?!
To Eric: Did you try to cut off the blank area?
And seriously, the picture is realy nice. I liked it. |

Correction: The problem with white spaces is solved somehow. So, I take back all I wrote above. |

Awesome, especially how you drew her legs & feet |

Thanks, Anouk! I had a little bit of trouble with that during it's conception, so i'm pleased to hear you think I pulled it off!

Very nice work Eric. Nice brushwork, textures, etc. It is also good to hear that you are influenced by Rafael DeSoto. He was my figure drawing teacher for two years at S.U.N.Y. at Farmingdale. Great man, great artist. Actually a true decendant of the world explorer.
P.P. Love her shoes!!! |

Thanks,Steve. Wow, That must have been quite an experience having Rafael as an instructor. Unfortunately I have only seen a limited amount of covers by him, such as the paintings he did for "Strange Detective Mysteries", "New Detective", "The Black Mask", and so on.
I can see he has a strong influence on your work as well, which by the way, I like very much as well.
