I've wanted to do some water-color for a long time now, so I've sketched up a picture, and wanted to check with the experts before moving on. Anatomy, clothing etc. Anything you see! Thanks!
Update: Taken away some of the images so the thread won't get heavy.

They are very pretty.
The only thing I noticed is the lady on the left. her arms seem to be kidn of short, and the arm and hand on the waist is in a very position.
you may want to add more shading or clothe folds to the lady on the right, so her arm looks more bended. right now it's a bit hard to tell it's bended, rather it looks short. _________________ pretty much stuck here...
guess what, I actually have 1 pic in my epi gallery now! only 1, but I'm so happy! <A HREF="http://look.epilogue.net" TARGET=_blank>http://look.epilogue.net</A> |

Ah, good you told me -- Min's head, especially, is huge! Tried to fix what you both told me.

Very nice! I agree about the right arm of the one on the left, I also think their heads seem a bit big but it seems stylized that way and looks good to me unless you are wanting perfect anatomy. :)
Wow! I see you just posted an update, it does look much better! Her right arm still looks a bit strange though.

yeah, the right arm and especially the hand are off. it's a very difficult position you chose to depic here, so I dont blame you, but you can find reference for this pose quite easily, look for some fashion model poses. As for the rest - pretty good!
My only other criticism would be the woman on the left - in the fantasy dress - her breasts are a bit too high I think.
Other that that - very promising.
I suggest you redraw the right arm from scratch, it'll be easier then trying to "fix" this one. _________________ Epilogue Gallery

*yawn* Night here in Sweden.
I looked at the reference-pic at <A HREF="http://www.fineart.sk/body/anything3D/demianovich.jpg" TARGET=_blank>this page</A>
And here's the result:

Okay, I think I see your problem... what you need to do is draw her arm without the cloth over it first, and then draw the cloth on it, so that it makes sense easier. This is what I see the wrist doing right now:
And I know I'm always saying I suck at anatomy, but the times that I -do- have to draw clothes, this is sort of my technique.. I just draw them totally naked and then put clothes over them.

. I did that this time. Never mind, her arm look stilted up, lacking the casuality I was looking for. I'll try with a different pose. _________________ Madeleine Gusdal

There. Is it pretty obvious that her hand's fisted up, her thumb in her pocket? :)

Started up with the coloring. How much of a background would this picture have to have? An arch (as in hallway) above? Some large roses at the bottom?
Edited: can't spell (damn cold)
